The Lower Shore Child Care Resource Center (LSCCRC) is a non-profit agency that works with child care providers and other early educators, community organizations and families on the Lower Shore to help promote the availability of quality child care services in Somerset, Worcester and Wicomico counties. We are part of the Maryland Family Network (MFN) and the Maryland Child Care Resource Network (MCCRN).
LSCCRC is under the direction of Dr. Chin Hsiu Chen, Chair, Teacher Education, Salisbury University Department of Education, Seidel School of Professional Studies. Leslie Sinclair is the Project Director for LSCCRC.
LSCCRC helps early childhood professionals caring for infants, toddlers, preschoolers and school age children by providing high quality training, program resources, technical assistance and coaching. The Lower Shore Child Care Resource Center works with all families and providers in the lower shore regardless of income.

The Lower Shore Child Care Resource Center’s mission is to advocate for quality child care and provide supportive services that enhance the quality of child care on the Lower Shore of Maryland. The Lower Shore Child Care Resource Center is committed to providing quality training and consultative services to the child care community as well as pertinent resources to providers and families in order to promote school readiness and the well-being of young children and those who care for them.
